Notwithstanding the criticism he has faced since announcing his divorce from Annie Idibia, 2Baba has confirmed his new romantic relationship with Natasha Osawaru, the lawmaker from Edo State.
Rumors about their relationship intensified after 2Baba was spotted at the Edo State Assembly, followed by a video showing the pair together at a nightclub in Lagos.
Some social media users shared photos suggesting that the two had been in a relationship for some time, even while 2Baba was still married to Annie.
In response to the rumors, 2Baba took to Instagram to clarify that Natasha is not responsible for his marital issues, while expressing his love for her. “Now this is my world. Make una help me beg am to marry me,” he wrote under Natasha’s picture.
In the video, 2Baba defended Natasha, refuting accusations that she was the cause of his marriage breakdown. “I said what I said. All of us will be alright…Honorable Natasha, I see she has been dragged, called all sorts of names, and labeled as a homebreaker. She is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman,” he stated.
He went on to say, “She is not a home breaker, she has nothing to do with what is going on between me and Annie. I love her, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”
