Nana Aba Anamoah unwraps on personal spat against Okraku-Mantey

Famous Media broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah has condemned one-time Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey, for what she outline as his poor performance in office.

Talking on United Showbiz, she cited Okraku-Mantey of failing to address key matters affecting the entertainment industry during his term. Her remarks shone answers, with some questioning whether she had a personal matter with the one-time deputy minister.

Nana Aba stated that her assessment was personal because Okraku-Mantey’s salary was funded by taxpayers, as well as herself.

When questioned about her relationship with Okraku-Mantey, she narrated him as an “acquaintance” and stand firm she would tell him the same thing in person.

She additionally described that her comments comes from letdown in his performance, especially because he had been a media personnel and was expected to support the creative arts zone better than his predecessors.

As claimed by her, Okraku-Mantey cut out to deliver, and the fortunes of most creatives continue to increase.

In spite of facing fallouts for her remarks, she remains stable in her stance, prolonging that he failed the creative industry.

“Yes, I have a personal problem with him because if my taxes are used to pay your salary, it’s personal. If my taxes are used to fuel your tank, it’s personal,” she told host Roselyn Felli on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

“I felt his comments were unnecessary. He’s been in the media before and doesn’t decide for any channel how they should approach their show. That wasn’t the main thrust; it was my disappointment in him because I thought that for someone who was coming from this industry, I expected better from him for the creatives. I expected an improvement to move them from A to C.”
