After recovering from an injury, Asante Kotoko skipper Frederick Asare has resumed his training participation. The custodian is said to have resumed his training on Tuesday morning, as stated by the club administration.
In spite of the fact that he was one of the few players to be called up to the Black Stars in the previous year, Asare was unable to play because of a knee problem that has persisted for some time, but he has made progress in his recuperation.
“It was anticipated that the captain’s injury would continue for approximately a week before he would return to team training,”
A commitment to assist the captain has been made by the squad’s coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, on behalf of the team. On Sunday, the 18th matchday of the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko will compete against Karela United.
