Ali Adolf John, who is the Northern Regional Minister appointee, has vowed to set up enduring peace in the region if accepted for the role.

Talking during his parliamentary vetting, Mr. Adolf focused on his intense diligence to promoting stability in a region that has faced periodic disagreement.
“I cherish peace so much that one of the things I want to be remembered for is peace. If I’m made the regional minister, I don’t want to see any conflict throughout my tenure,” he noted.
“I believe the structures I will establish will continue to promote harmony long after I am gone,” he added up.
His comments come at a time when accounts of local disputes in northern Ghana stressed the importance of a strong peace-building strategy.
