Uncertainty over Mahama’s administration letter to former NIA Boss

President John Dramani Mahama has cancelled the appointment of the Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority, Professor Kenneth Agyeman Attafuah with immediate effect.

He was questioned in a letter signed by the Secretary of the President, Callistus Mahama, to hand over power to William Kwaku Deku, who shall appear as Acting Executive Secretary to the Authority. Officially, Professor Kenneth Agyeman Attafuah retires as NIA’s Executive Secretary.

“The President extends his gratitude for your service to the nation”, some parts of the letter read.
