Celebrated Ghanaian Gospel singer , Empress Gifty Adorye laid her mother, Evangelist Agness Aba Annan, also known as ‘Agaga’ to rest on January 18,2025.
The singer, who could not check her sadness, was seen standing beside the coffin of her mother. Supporters who stood closer to her were seen trying to comfort the celebrity as she cries.
Agaga, as Empress Gifty often calls her, was born December 16,1954, was a well known kumahood actress and stirred in countless Tv commercials. In spite of her age, she was a lively woman.
The burial ceremony, happened at the Tema Community 8 school park, which witnessed many members of the creative arts group such as Kofi Kinaata, Piesie Esther, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, Obaapa Christy, Brother Sammy, Joe Mettle, among others, sympathizing with the family.
Business guru, Osei Kwame Despite, Sammi Awuku, Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, and others were also seen paying their last respect to the late evangelist.
