Former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will reportedly not attend President-elect Donald Trump’s traditional inaugural lunch.
According to reports, Ex-president Obama received an invitation but refused to attend. Bill Clinton also received an invitation; however, he has no plans of attending the traditional inauguration ceremony. With regards to former President Bush, his office has alleged that it had not received an invitation to the luncheon.
Hillary Clinton, the former first lady and Secretary of State has reportedly received an invitation to the traditional inaugural lunch but will not attend.
A spokesperson for the Trump’s transition team refused to make any immediate comment on the absences.
However, all three past presidents will be present for Trump’s swearing-in ceremony earlier in the day. According to reports, all the former first ladies will also attend the swearing-in ceremony, except for Michelle Obama.
