Ghanaian defender Karim Madja has signed Mbabane Highlanders on loan for the rest of the season from rivals Mbabane Swallows.
His agent Bongani Nxumalo is reported to have leaked the transfer after saying: ”Karim Madja has been offered to Mbabane Highlanders for the rest of the season and with the defender earning over E7 000, it’s too much for the club who are trying to lower their monthly wage bill.”
Madja moved to Eswatini at the start of the season [2024] from Ghanaian outfit Elmina Sharks
His Swallows career got off to a flying start when he snatched the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Ferroviario of Mozambique in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
