Hajia4real’s lawyers request her passport from the US government to initiate deportation process

The lawyers of apprehended Mona Faiz Montrage have requested the passport of the socialite from the US authorities.

The socialite’s attorney requested in a letter to Judge J. Paul Oekten that Ms. Montrage’s passport be returned so that she may begin the process of self-deportation to Ghana.

“We represent Ms. Mona Montrage on the above-captioned letter. We write with the consent of the government to respectfully request the release of Ms. Montrage’s passport, which was surrendered to Pretrial Services at the time of her arrest,” parts of the letter read.

The proposal complies with an earlier ruling that mandates she get her passport back after serving her time.

After her sentence is over, Ms. Montrage will be accompanied by USMS from the BOP facility to the airport, where she will board a flight to Ghana without making any domestic stops.

Ms. Montrage is presently serving a year and a day at FDC Philadelphia after self-surrendering on July 29, 2024.

She faced a six-count indictment accusing her of participating in several romance schemes and laundering the money obtained from them.
