US law court accepts Hajia 4Reall’s self-deportation

The Ghanaian influencer was jail sentenced on 28 June 2024, having admitted to her role in a plan that defrauded individuals and businesses in the United States between 2013 and 2019.

A US court has approved a request for the release of Hajia 4Reall, real name, Mona Faiz Montrage’s, to facilitate her deportation to Ghana the completion of her prison sentence.

She is serving a 12-month sentence at the Federal Detention Centre in Philadelphia after pleading guilty to conspiracy to sustain stolen money.

Her legal team, Fast Law, submitted the appeal on 1 November 2024, arguing that the document was necessary to begin self-deportation proceedings. Court records indicate that prosecutors did not oppose the application.

The US District Judge, J.Paul Oetkan has now ruled in favour of the request, directing that the passport be handed over to her lawyers.
