Ghana premier league giant Asante Kotoko has signed 29-year-old Sampson Eduku to a one-and-a-half-year contract following the successful completion of his medical.

The striker joins Albert Amoah and Kwame Poku to strengthen the attack of the club.

Eduku joins Asante Kotoko after playing for Tamale Cities and Samatex in the past and played for Al-Hedod SC.

His impressive form during the 2022/23 season with Tamale cities earned him a move to Iraqi Premier League side Al Quwa Al Jawiya, where he further showcased his goal-scoring prowess.

Speaking to the media outfit of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Eduku indicated that ““It feels amazing to join a club as big as Kotoko. This is a massive step in my career, and I’m fully aware of the expectations that come with playing for this great club.
