Ghana premier league giants Asante Kotoko have called on all other clubs particularly their archrivals, Hearts of Oak to join their solemn campaign against violence and hooliganism in the country’s league and all other football competitions.
The Porcupines are seeking the collaboration of all other top-tier clubs to end the vicious cycle which claimed the life of their supporter over the weekend.
This was contained in a statement issued on February 4, 2025, by Kotoko relaying their resolve to honour an invitation by the FA over the killing.
“We will honour this invitation and lead the charge to ensure that this painful moment serves as a turning point for Ghanaian football, it is time to end the cycle of violence, hooliganism, and lawlessness that threatens the integrity of our game.
