Richard Ahiagbah to Mahama – Sign anti-gay bill without delay.

Popular New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Director, Richard Ahiagbah, has called on President John Mahama to sign the anti-gay bill into law without obstruction.

While in a meeting with religious leaders on Tuesday, Mahama mention the bill must be authorities-sponsored to be more helpful than the present Private Member’s Bill.

He has cite Prez. Mahama of ruling against his prior dedication to signing the LGBTQ+ Bill during the 2024 election campaign. This revelation was made in a Facebook post after the President specified that the bill could not be agreed to in its present form.

However, he described that presenting a government-backed bill would authorize for an open debate and contribute to building a national consents.

The President also underlined the need for corrections to school subject to add teachings that cast back Ghanaian and African worth, as well as moral and cultural education.

Mr. Ahiagbah has point up the consequences of Prez. Mahama keeping his promise, declaring that elections have importance.

“Sign the bill as you have pledged to Ghanaians,” he stated in his post.
