After a successful first round, Justice Blay praised his midfield partner at Asante Kotoko this season, Ntim Manu.
Manu was chastised early in the season, but under Blay’s direction, the couple have created a powerful partnership in the heart of Kotoko’s midfield.
Ahead of the second round of the campaign, Blay believes Manu deserves more acclaim than he is currently receiving.
“Ntim is not getting the praises he deserves, I honestly feel he is now ahead of me in terms of performance and I always give him the credit whenever we play together,” commented the player.
Meanwhile, Manu revealed that being focused and always refining his skills seemed to have paid off in the long run.
“It was difficult to accept at first, but I did not dwell on it. I had to turn off my phone at times to focus on improving my game, but I didn’t take any of the criticism personally since I knew I needed to alter something about it,” Manu explained.
The two are slated to start in midfield for the Porcupine Warriors against Karela United this Sunday.
