Blackstars failed to qualify for next AFCON which will be played in Morocco . Due to that many Ghanaians are talking about the recent performance of the blackstars.
The Ghana Football Association communication director Henry Asante Twun in an interview with Kumasi based radio Akoma FM revealed what the team should do to turn things around.
“It is not the goal of anyone at the FA, whether at the leadership or staff level, to continue failing at the national team level, which is where we are now.”
“There is always an opportunity to correct your mistakes, and I know from the players to the technical team that, if Otto stays, he has learned his lessons, and if he does not, I believe whoever comes in will have watched our matches and picked up some useful lessons to correct future mistakes.”
“The recent events at Manchester City are beyond conception, but this is football, it only takes one excellent result to turn things around, and that is what we are focusing on.”
Blackstars have World Cup qualifiers to play this year.
