Dzifa Gomashie nominated as Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts

Dzifa Abla Gomashie, the Member of Parliament for Ketu South Constituency has been appointed as the minister-designate for tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.

This announcement was issued and signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the spokesperson to the President on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Dzifa Abla Gomashie served as the deputy minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts under the previous John Mahama-led administration.

Her wealth of experience in both the political sphere and creative arts industry, and her dedication to the preservation of culture makes her the ideal candidate for this ministerial appointment.

Given her prior accomplishments and developments that she fostered as deputy minister, players in the tourism sector were not surprised by her appointment as minister-designate.

The minister-designate bagged her diploma in Theatre Arts. and a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Management from the University of Ghana, Legon.
