Nana Obo Atta Essoun III, the divisional chief of Takoradi-Amanful Traditional Area, has commissioned a new mechanized borehole to provide clean water for the Amanful West electoral area community.
This project, inaugurated today, will serve over 2,000 residents who previously relied on streams for water. The community has lacked access to potable drinking water for years, forcing residents to use a nearby stream for domestic purposes. This new borehole, named after Nana Obo Atta Essoun III, aims to address this issue and improve the lives of community members.

Notably, this project marks the beginning of similar initiatives in neighboring communities facing similar water crises, demonstrating Nana Obo Atta Essoun III’s commitment to providing essential services and improving the well-being of his people.
